TwitSuite vs Twitter Updater for WordPress

Just as I thought I’m done with the blog, I’ve discovered that TwitSuite seems to do what Twitter Updater does as well, so I’ve disabled the Twitter Updater for now (sorry!) and let’s see if instead the TwitSuite tweets this on my Twitter…

On top of actually upgrading my version of WordPress, I have actually checked every single plugin as well and made sure it is at the latest version — so now i have a fully upgraded WordPress installation!
The only thing that doesn’t seem to work is TweetSuite — which sounded though very good at first glance (especially the tweetbacks feature!) — however I have run out of time to check any further for today so I’m afraid that will have to wait; meanwhile, if anyone knows of any reasons why TweetSuite keeps displaying “No tweetbacks yet” please do let me know as I’ve tweeted about my own blog entries a few times, for test purposes and none of those entries have been picked up it seems

I’ve been delaying for a while to upgrade my WordPress version — for various reasons including not actually having the 10 minutes required to do so — but finally I managed today to spend a little time and upgrade it and even tidy up some bits and pieces on the blog. You won’t see any difference, I know, but trust me, the admin panel looks so much nicer

Ok so this is getting intesresting — having installed the WordPress component on my LinkedIn page I now provide updates (automatically) on my LinkedIn profile every time I tag a blog post “LinkedIn” — and since I got the Twitter Updater I am providing updates automatically as well on my twitter — woohoo!
So this blog entry should appear (or be mentioned) on both above-mentioned sites. As Alexander (remember comparethemeerkat.com? 
would put it: simples! lol
